Active Learning (Explicit Learning) 

Active learning, or explicit learning, is a conscious process where the learner focuses directly on understanding grammar rules, memorizing vocabulary, and analyzing sentence structures. This method is typical in traditional classrooms, where teachers explain theories in detail and students complete exercises to master the material. Active learning helps students understand the “why” behind the language, allowing for precise error correction and a strong theoretical foundation. However, relying solely on this approach can lead to hesitation in real-life conversations. This occurs because the brain is often too busy analyzing rules and translating mentally instead of responding with natural, spontaneous reflexes.
